Christmas Train with Papa

This year we are spending Christmas with my parents in Wyoming. Kaleb has been such fun this year. He has been enjoying the constant attention. My dad has a tradition of a Christmas Train. He showed Kaleb, and he loves it. My Mom also taught Kaleb to "whoo Whoo" like a train. Here is his video with Papa.

Christmas Light parade

A few weeks back, Helper, UT had a Christmas light parade. We went, enjoyed the lights...but not the cold. We came home and had homemade hot chocolate and chocolate chip cookies. We then enjoyed a Christmas Movie of the "Grinch". This year Christmas will be fun! Wish all of our family and friends a Merry Christmas from the Bigelows!!

Panda Bear bop!

To Aunt Loni and Aunt Dani, Thank you so much for the Panda Bear. This was Kaleb's initial reation to it. Can't wait to post more videos when he finally gets the hang of it. Thanks again coming down and visiting!!!

Party Time!

Thanks to all of our Family to traveled and came to share in Kaleb's special day!

Such a goofy kid!

Happy 1st Birthday

To think that Kaleb used to be that (not so) tiny newborn. 1 year ago our little man came a week later than planned and has been the best thing in our lives! His actual birthday feel on Thanksgiving this year so we celebrated it a day later so he ( I) wouldn't have to have pie on his birthday. He also now shares a birthday with his cousin Tristan. (Jordon and Tiffany's) newest addition. Hope you have a great Birthday Kaleb! We all Love you! ~Mom and Dad

Poopoo

Kaleb giggles at the most random things...he loves to be chased and tickled.

I fail at blogging!

So because my sisters have stated I never keep up on my blog and they want to see pictures of ME...jk I know you only want to see my baby...so here is the update on the Bigelow family...Mostly Kaleb.

Kaleb is now 10 months old! He started walking at nine months, and just hasn't slowed down!
My First steps!

In addition to Kaleb's walking, we have some more family news. I recently switched doctor's offices after getting my Medical assisting. I now work in a pediatric and internal medicine office. I love it. It does break my heart when I have to give kids immunizations, they look at you so sad...but once you let them pick a prize they seem to forgive you till the next time they have to come to your office. Adam is in in the RN program and is a semester and a half till he's done!! We all enjoy Kaleb's new mobility, though it can be frustrating when he's into everything!

Its a.....Puppy

Yes....the rumors are true.....we have a puppy....his name is "KALEB".

Kaleb acts like a little puppy dog. He always tries to put my shoes in his mouth. He'll take his socks off and crawl around the living room with them in his mouth. He bites my couch and anything he can put in his mouth...like paper (usually ends up shredded by him). His toys are strewn across the house.
He does eat less than a real puppy. Kaleb is a funny character and keeps life interesting at our house...Can't turn your back or he'll be into something else.

Extended Family

While in Powell we to see Chris's baby Boy Manti for the first time. He is a few months younger than Kaleb. We also spent time with My grandparents Mae and Louis Blohm. Also I was fortunate to see the whole Stingley Family. Scott and Billie were there, Tyler, Aunt Julie and Uncle Kent....can't for get one of Kaleb's favorite, Tyler's dog Jess.

It was so much fun going back to visit Family. Miss them lots and I am grateful for technology that allows me to keep in contact with them.

Harley Davidson!

In some of Kaleb's clothes that have been given to us...we found a Harley Davidson shirt. My dad just last year FINALLY got his Harley we got pictures of Kaleb with his Papa on Papa's Harley.

Bigelow Summer Thus Far...

Our Summer has flown by so fast! Though there is still half left over we've been busy but we feel like there is still so much we should do! In June we had the opportunity to go to Wyoming and stay for  whole week!! We were in Newcastle and then traveled over to Powell. The end of June I finished my schooling and got my certificate in Medical Assisting. Adam also passed is Nursing test and is an LPN (licensed practical nurse). Kaleb began crawling about the Middle of June. Adam then started his RN year on July 2nd. And Now mid- July Kaleb pulls himself up to anything and everything. He had his first face plant and fat lip (poor baby). He's just growing up too fast! He's wanted to be more independent and express that to us with fits when we do things he doesn't want us to...but he is still such a great baby and we love him!

Big Boy!

Kaleb is almost 6 months old and is sitting up by himself without assistance. He does baby push ups getting really close to trying to crawl but decides he'd rather just lay on his stomach and complain to his toys. Kaleb is getting ready to go places, but luckily I have a few more days til my house must be extra clean before he tares it apart.

He has the James family ears ;)

5 Months!

Five months have already gone by! Kaleb is excelling so quickly! He's been eating rice cereal and enjoying bananas. He's rolling all over my living room, and is a chatter box! It's crazy to think just a few months ago he was  a tiny new born (not exactly a tiny new born, he was 8.1oz and 21") but compared to his size now he was tiny.

Newborn Kaleb!

5 months old!
Kaleb has been an amazing addition to the family! He is always cheerful except when he's tired...and he's always smiling and making others smile! Too soon he will be crawling and Look out! He'll be unstoppable!

Eastering

Eastering, (as they call it in Utah), was our families first camping trip of the year. My sister Loni and her husband were going to be working on their new wood for so we volunteered to take her oldest two Ayden and Ellie camping with us. Tate got some one on one time with Aunt Danielle and his Nana and Grandpa Shaw.

We were down in the Buckhorn wash this year and the weather was amazing! The kids had fun climbing up and down the rocks behind our trailer, and seeing all the exciting things Uncle Adam could show them. examples, dinosaur foot print, Geo cashing, Indian paintings, and geode finding.

Adyen, (with the help of Uncle Adam) found the treasure!

They also participated in an Easter Egg hunt. Thanks Brenda for letting them join in! Thanks Loni for letting us borrow your kids for the weekend we had tons of fun!

Kaleb has been tons of fun lately. He is getting very close to rolling over. As soon as he figures out how to move his elbow out of his way there will be no stopping him. He now reaches and plays with toys. He especially loves this ball with lots of holes that my Mom got him because his fingers can grab it. He also likes a moose from Adam's Mom we named "Roofus". Here is a video of the litte man "playing" (yelling) at his toys.

TV and Downton Abbey

Last weekend Adam finally got a chance to watch a movie after a busy week with the Nursing  Program. Kaleb also enjoyed a night with daddy watching "Ice Age" 4.

Then This week Adam was busy doing homework, so Kaleb and I got some quality time watching Downton Abbey. I first heard of the series from my sisters and Natalie months ago. I saw the first and second season at the library and figured I'd try them out.  Love IT! Soon Kaleb and I will have Adam enjoying it too!

And Yes I'm enjoying a snack!

Late night owl!

Kaleb has slept through the night 3 nights in a row! However, he will hang out and party till 11:30 to Midnight before he crashes. This is one of our late night hang outs.
Um...so hope you guys aren't tired...."I thought maybe we could make ginger bread houses, and eat cookie dough, and go ice skating, and maybe even hold hands."

Good night Kisses

Can't get this milk out of my gums...

Daddy's method

I was busy doing something and asked Adam to hold / watch Kaleb.  Adam was trying to help with dinner. And I walked into the kitchen to this....(I guess if that what works for you Honey)

Attractive pose
He wasn't unhappy, but wasn't happy either

Nana Papa Time

Nana's turn with Kaleb

Just watching Papa

My Parents were down over New Year's weekend and Kaleb met my dad for the first time. It was so much fun having them here. We live quite a distance apart, so it makes time spent with them more special. Goodbyes were so hard, but thank goodness for technology of cell phones, facebook, blogs, and skype to keep us close. Miss you Mom and Dad!

Just like Papa

Both were so tuckered out after a late night on Saturday and the events of Sunday. I got pictures of them both asleep. Only difference is Kaleb has his mouth open.

Best picture of his full outfit
We were able to Bless Kaleb Adam Bigelow on Jan. 30th 2012. He blessed by his Father and other family members. My parents drove down from Wyoming to spend the weekend with us, so did Loni and Spencer with their kids, and Danielle. Adam's Aunts and Uncles from Arizona and Texas were also able to be there. Kaleb was blessed in the same outfit that Adam had been blessed in. Kaleb however was a bigger boy than Adam was. It was a tight fit for the little guy. We were to thankful for all of our Family who were able to make it.
